Eileen has been involved in the sport of purebred dogs since 1975, when she acquired her first show quality Irish Setter.  He went on to become a multiple group winner and sire of champions. Through the years, there have been a number of  litters, bred in the hope of developing a show prospect, but also providing puppies to wonderful pet homes. Health and temperament have always been primary, along with adherence to the breed standard in terms of conformation and movement.

In 2013, Mariel was acquired from the owner of Harmony Havanese, her breeder.   She has become the foundation of this venture into the world of Havanese, when Eileen decided to pursue a smaller breed. Mariel completed her Championship and her Grand Championship. She has been an outgoing show girl, and a funny and affectionate companion in the home.  Her son Nate completed his championship as a puppy.

We have added two lovely girls from Amor Havanese - Ami and Dory. Ami is a champion and Dory is a Bronze Grand Champion. Ami’s daughter Daphne is now a champion and her sister Gypsy (owned by Blithe & co-owned by Nightn’gael) is a Bronze Grand Champion. Dory’s daughter Mellow is a champion.  These last two litters were sired by Silver Grand Ch. Boodles.

Mariel and the Nightn’gaels have their CHIC rating, after completing all required health testing.  We have one more to complete testing when she becomes 2.
